你们好！怀着无比沉重与忐忑的心情写下这封信。我是患者苏其栋的妹妹，我们来自广西北海市公馆镇的一个普通农民家庭。此刻，我的哥哥正躺在北海市人民医院急诊重症ICU与死神殊死搏斗，而我们全家在高昂的治疗费面前已濒临绝望，不得不向各位好心人发出求救信号，希望能为哥哥争取生的希望。

4月3日，一场意外毫无征兆地降临。那天，哥哥像往常一样干活，却不慎意外受伤。我们心急如焚，立刻将他送往公馆医院，但因伤情过重，当天便紧急转入合浦县人民医院神经外科。本以为经过治疗哥哥能逐渐好转，可五天过去，他的病情不仅没有改善，反而愈发严重。医生无奈建议转院，4月8日，120救护车将哥哥送到北海市人民医院急诊科重症ICU。拿到诊断书的那一刻，全家人都崩溃了：
1.创伤性蛛网膜下腔出血、
2四根以上肋骨骨折、
3.腰椎骨折、
4.胸椎骨折、
5.脾挫裂伤伴出血、
6.肺炎、
7.肺挫伤、
8.肝多发囊肿……每一个病症都像一把重锤，狠狠砸在我们心上。

医生告诉我们，哥哥脑部出血和骨折的治疗康复过程漫长，重症监护室每天的花费高达上万元。短短几天，我们已经花去了近十万元，后续的治疗费用更是像一个深不见底的黑洞，压得我们喘不过气。

哥哥的家庭状况也令人揪心。他育有一儿一女，女儿远嫁他乡，生活拮据，自顾不暇；儿子还在读大学，正是需要经济支持的时候；而嫂子患有精神疾病，每月都要花费大量费用看病治疗、买药维持。这个家早已负债累累，如今哥哥倒下，更是雪上加霜。

从小到大，哥哥一直是家里的顶梁柱，为了这个家，他日夜操劳，默默付出。如今，他躺在病床上，全身插满管子，承受着病痛的折磨，我们却无能为力，那种绝望和无助让人痛彻心扉。我们实在不忍心看着他被病魔夺走生命，不想让这个家就此支离破碎。
